Dynamo Technologies enters space, defense domains via acquisition
Substantially all of Dynamo's work prior to this transaction centered around the Agriculture Department.
Dynamo Technologies has acquired a provider of engineering services to federal agencies in a move to enter the space and defense domains of the government market.
Victory Solutions is a service-disabled/veteran-owned and woman-owned small business that started operations in 2008 to work with agencies such as NASA and the Defense Department, as well as other aerospace-and-defense companies.
Through this transaction announced Friday, Dynamo gains more of a presence in space exploration and digital transformation programs. Financial terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
Victory Solutions has recorded approximately $31.2 million in unclassified prime contract revenue over the trailing 12 months with NASA representing 62% of that spend and the Missile Defense Agency the remaining 38%, according to USASpending.gov data.
By contrast, the bulk of Dynamo Technologies’ portfolio appears to be in the civilian corners of the market. Dynamo’s unclassified prime revenue over the trailing 12 months totals $80.2 million with the Agriculture Department making up 97% of that.
Dynamo’s customer base also includes the departments of Interior, State, Health and Human Services, and Homeland Security.
