InDyne wins $1.1B Space Force support contract

Space Force sticks with one of its incumbent providers of administrative, financial and managerial resources.

InDyne has won a five-year, $1.1 billion indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract to continue its non-personal services in support of Space Force’s work to continuously operate and maintain radars.

Space Force uses these radars for missions in missile warning and defense, as well as space domain awareness. The service branch received one other proposal for this recompete, according to the Pentagon’s Wednesday awards digest.

InDyne is responsible for providing administrative, financial and managerial resources on a round-the-clock basis to help Space Force meet its objectives in commonality, interoperability, survivability, capacity and responsiveness.

Solicitation documents released in October 2024 describe the contract’s key mission areas of support as including computer maintenance, technical assistance, training development and support, electronic system management, occupational and public health, civil engineering and information management.

For InDyne, its capture of the new contract means the company keeps a program it first won in the spring of 2018. InDyne won the second and current iteration of the contract in the spring of 2022 at a $387.7 million ceiling.

Space Force has obligated $343.5 million in task order volume to-date against the current contract and April 30 is its sunset date, according to GovTribe data.

Work under the new contract will take place at these six locations:

  • Beale Air Force Base in California
  • Cape Cod Space Force Station in Massachusetts
  • Cheyenne Mountain Space Force Station in Colorado
  • Clear Space Force Station in Alaska
  • Pituffik Space Base in Greenland
  • Royal Air Force Fylingdales in the U.K.
